PATCO Machine & Fab., Inc. was founded by John R. Kilpatrick
in November 1973 as a privately-owned machine shop
specializing in manufacturing pins, shafts, bushings and various
petroleum related machine parts. Mr. Kilpatrick's philosophy was
to serve a relatively small customer base with the very best
product, at a competitive price, within the timeframe required.
By 1979 PATCO established a reputation as a major supplier of
offshore jack-up rig cylinders, rig skidding jacks, motion
compensator cylinders, riser tensioner cylinders & systems, mud
suction valves, dump valves, equalizer valves and other
petroleum related equipment components.
The petroleum industry depression in mid-1982 prompted PATCO
to expand their product base. They aimed to provide a total
customer assistance concept of Manufacturing, Systems &
Services in all facets of general industry, utility organizations, land
and offshore based industries and petroleum and non-
petroleum related machinery and equipment.
Mr. Kilpatrick's philosophy has proven to be the cornerstone of
PATCO’s success today. A growing product base and
dedicated professionalism has allowed PATCO to experience an
increase in customers, personnel, equipment, and facilities.
Our reputation has grown exponentially as a qualified and
reliable supplier for industry leading companies worldwide.
PATCO is also an active contributor to local charities benefiting
Houston and surrounding areas.
